Top O' The Mornin'

Went out last night to an event which turned out to be completely different from what I expected. Turned out to be an interesting and different experience, although I would have been able to do better press on the event if they had been more organized about facilitating having me and Forrest shoot the most newsworthy participants. I had a good time anyway; it just turned out less like work than expected. Can't really knock that even a little, unless you are a workaholic.
Most surreal highlight of the evening was when I went up to a girl and told her I liked her outfit and she was like, "didn't we shoot years ago." She was wearing pretty spectacular makeup and this headdress she had made herself, so she could have looked pretty different before. I'm all racking my brain for events I might have met her at. Shots Forrest and I did of her ran in Tattoo Savage and I think Marquis. Then she pointed out that we shot at her house, with this super hot guy, and she had a helmet with flames which shot out the top. We shot years ago, but, hell yeah, I remembered her. Felt like I should have picked her out even years later and in costume, once she reminded me. We shot all sorts of unusual different films on her. I'm sort of hungering for a darkroom to play in today. That was such cool stuff.
Anyway, here is a shot I really love from Forrest Black's and my most recent shoot for Blue Blood's GothicSluts.com.

Another teeny bit more NSFW shot from another recent update is after the cut - click here

Date: 2005-05-01 02:52 am (UTC)Definitely come say howdy on the BB boards! I was sort of dubious when we added them, but they are active and a lot more both intelligent and capable of polite disagreement and debate on interesting issues. I wanted to have a place like that for diverse people with different perspectives to be able to come together to exchange viewpoints and ideas and info, but I was pleasantly surprised that it has ended up working so well. It is a place where results far surpassed my optimism and I'm awfully happy about it.
Speaking of cute hats reminds me I've got your cute hat sitting in an envelope.

Date: 2005-05-01 03:00 am (UTC)The show was really enjoyable. I'd intended to have the evening be a lot more work for me, but watching an extravagant show is pretty cool too!
Now that I'm more familiar with the event, I'm sure I'll be able to do a better job of the press side of things in the future too. It is sort of a unique shindig.
